Our Story

At Elizabeth Grace Occasions, LLC, we believe in high standards and a strong work ethic.  Whether you are looking for a co-pilot to provide full planning and design coordination or someone to simply point you in the right direction with a single consultation, we will take the stress out of planning your event.

Headquartered in beautiful Charleston, South Carolina, we specialize in full service event design, coordination, and production.   The staff at Elizabeth Grace Occasions, LLC has over 15 years experience planning meetings, weddings, corporate events, fundraisers, and other private soirees.  We also offer a custom Charleston welcome bag service themed for corporate events or wedding guests.

Amie Waldeck, Owner

Amie spent six years in marketing, advertising, and fundraising before following her passion into wedding and event planning.  After earning her Masters in Public Administration and coordinating countless fundraising events such as galas, golf tournaments, and community wide festivals, she opened her own business.  Putting together her middle name with her daughter's, Elizabeth Grace Occasions, LLC was born.  Amie enjoys reading, enjoying a glass of wine with friends, traveling with her husband of 17 years, and playing taxi driver to her two middle school-age children.

Since 2009, Amie and the Elizabeth Grace Occasions team have been designing and producing all types of events. From intimate board of directors retreats, large corporate grand openings, countless high-end weddings, and 1,200 guest count black tie galas, we have done it all! The DIY Consultation

Planning a wedding in Charleston?  This package is perfect for the do-it-yourself bride, or a smaller budget wedding.  We provide you with all the tools to put together your dream wedding. Includes:

  • One 2 hour meeting (can be done in person or over the phone for destination weddings)
  • our guest invitation template
  • timeline
  • budget
  • vendor recommendations
  • floor plan & rentals assistance
  • ceremony planning
  • One follow-up planning meeting closer to your event date can be booked at a discounted rate of $100.
  • A $300 credit will be applied if you decide to hire us as your partial or full service wedding planner.

The bonus bridesmaid

Otherwise known as partial planning, this package is designed for those who wish to take care of the big decisions on their own (venues, caterer, photography, entertainment, etc.) but need help with pulling together the smaller details like decor, rentals, printing, lighting, flowers, etc.  Package includes:

  • 4 planning meetings, including one at venue(s) and rental company(s).
  • Unlimited email/phone communication with client.
  • Communication with all vendors leading up to the event.
  • Assist officiant with running the rehearsal
  • Day-of coordination starting with the first vendor's delivery all the way through clean-up to ensure seamless event execution.

Tie the knot with EGO! Till death do us part, your event is our priority. The Ultimate Vow package provides full service coordination for your wedding, and we will work closely with you to ensure that all your dreams come true within your desired budget. From love at first sight till happily ever after, plan your special day with our team. Through our initial meetings we will establish a working budget that matches your priorities, creating the overall vision for your special day. From this point we cover event design, coordination, vendor communication and supervision from beginning to end, considering every detail. Ultimate Vow clients receive unlimited communication and TLC from a loyal, loving planner, as well as face-to-face meetings every 4-6 weeks.

Holding a destination wedding in Charleston?Welcome your friends and family in style!  We will work with you to create a personalized bag or gable box that coordinates with your wedding color and theme.  We'll include a personalized welcome letter, things to do from local attractions, and an assortment of goodies based on your preferences.

Corporate Welcome Bags

Holding a conference in Charleston?  Want to show your appreciation to your employees?  Nothing says "Welcome to Charleston" like a bag filled with local treats!  We can work with you to personalize a welcome letter and/or schedule of events for your attendees.

  • Bags start at $18 (usually one bag per couple)
  • All orders require 3 weeks advance notice
  • Includes delivery to 3 Charleston area locations.  Additional deliveries will incur extra fees.
  • Some hotels charge a fee to pass out bags.  Please verify before placing your order as we are not responsible for this additional fee.
