Named for their daughters, Elizabeth Grace Occasions, LLC is owned by two sisters. Originally from the Midwest, Amie and Gayle have both lived in the Charleston area since 2001.

Amie Clark Waldeck - President & Managing Director
Amie spent 6 years in advertising, marketing and fundraising before following her passion into event planning. After earning her Masters in Public Administration and coordinating countless fundraising events such as galas, golf tournaments and community wide festivals, she took a year off to be a stay-at-home mom. She couldn't entirely leave the event planning world and after channeling her energy through volunteering at a number of events, she and Gayle decided to open their own business. Amie enjoys reading, enjoying a glass of wine with friends, shopping with Gayle, traveling with her husband and serving as taxi driver for her two kids, ages 6 and 9.

Gayle Clark Dorsel - Vice President & Creative Director
After earning her Masters degree, Gayle has been in education administration for over 7 years, most recently as a middle school vice principal. After getting sucked into the many events Amie was always volunteering for, Gayle realized her event planning potential and passion. As the creative director, Gayle is instrumental in the conceptualization and design plans. Gayle enjoys playing "princess" with her daughter, designing unique floral arrangements, crafting and traveling.

Since 2009, Elizabeth Grace Occasions, LLC has been designing and producing all types of events from intimate weddings for 50 guests to 700 guest black tie galas. Amie and Gayle are available for full planning, partial planning and a limited number of week-of wedding coordination clients.
